• EYFS Framework

  • Child Centred

  • Play Based

We offer a carefully designed curriculum rooted in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), ensuring every child receives a strong foundation for lifelong learning. We follow the statutory EYFS framework while enriching it with a blended approach informed by educational research and best practice in early childhood development.

Our curriculum is child-centred and play-based, recognising that young children learn best through exploration, curiosity, and positive relationships. We draw on a range of evidence-based principles to support children’s independence, creativity, communication, and critical thinking.

Learning experiences are thoughtfully planned to reflect each child’s interests, developmental stage, and individual needs, while covering all seven areas of learning and development within the EYFS.

Physical Development helps children to
  • Build strength, balance and coordination

  • Develop fine and gross motor skills

  • Gain independence through self-care

  • Explore movement confidently and safely

Communication & Language supports children to
  • Develop listening and attention skills

  • Understand and follow simple instructions

  • Build vocabulary and expressive language

  • Gain confidence in speaking and communication

By combining the EYFS framework with research-informed practice and a holistic view of the child, we support children’s emotional wellbeing, social development, and early learning, helping them grow into happy, confident, and capable learners.

Skilled practitioners observe, assess, and extend children’s learning through high-quality interactions, creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe, confident, and motivated to learn.

Personal, Social and Emotional Development helps children to
  • Build confidence and self-awareness

  • Understand and manage their feelings

  • Form positive relationships

  • Develop empathy and social skills
