Out of 250+ colors, all have an ASTM lightfastness rating of Excellent (100+ years) or Very Good (100 years) with the exception of 2 highly artists requested colors. 3. They have to be reliable. Artists need colors that are consistent from tube to tube that they can depend on when painting. We developed our watercolors in the early 1990s and debuted 18 colors in 1993 with a goal of adding more palette standards as well as unique colors over the years. Our watercolors continue to be manufactured in small batches, they are handmade, and hand packed for consistent quality control. • NICKEL AZO YELLOW: A dark rich color out of the tube, it becomes a brilliant, glowing yellow. This transparent yellow is perfect for Autumn leaves from the duller, ochre older leaves to the brilliant yellow of sunlit leaves against the deep blue Autumnal sky! AUSSIE RED GOLD: Is the rich, golden color of ochre cliffs set aflame at sunset. This brilliant, reddish gold will add glowing light to Autumn leaves, late summer flowers and landscapes! OPERA PINK: A primary magenta with a hint of fluorescent pink granulation producing some of the most brilliant glowing mixes you have ever seen!

• GREEN APATITE GENUINE: Creates a beautiful range of greens – fresh yellow green to deep olive – with a single tube. This granulating color is a dark, almost brown, olive green in mass tone. In washes, the brown settles out of a vivid natural green, creating memorable texture and contrast. UNDERSEA GREEN: This exciting, granulating green blends French Ultramarine with Quinacridone Gold. The inorganic, sedimentary French Ultramarine settles and granulates while the organic, transparent Quinacridone Gold floats into a golden halo. Concentrated, this will remind you of warm sea kelp.
