Safeguarding and Safety
At Bee Active Childcare, the safety and wellbeing of every child is our top priority. We have robust safeguarding measures and procedures in place to ensure that all children can learn, play, and grow in a safe and secure environment. Our dedicated team is committed to providing a nurturing setting where children can thrive with confidence, knowing they are well cared for at every step.
1. Ofsted
Bee Active Childcare is fully regulated and inspected by Ofsted, the official body responsible for ensuring high standards in early years education and childcare. Regular inspections help us maintain excellent care and learning environments for all children, giving parents confidence that their child is safe, supported, and thriving in our setting.
2. Safer Eating
In line with the new EYFS safer eating requirements, we have updated our practices to ensure that mealtimes are as safe as possible. This includes careful supervision, age-appropriate food preparation, and guidance for staff on supporting children while they eat. These measures help reduce the risk of choking and ensure that all children can enjoy their meals safely and confidently.
3. Safer Recruitment
We follow strict safer recruitment practices to ensure that every member of our team is carefully checked, qualified, and committed to providing high-quality care. This includes thorough background checks, interviews, and ongoing training, so you can have confidence that your child is in safe, capable, and caring hands at all times.
4. Safeguarding Updates
We have strengthened our policies and procedures to ensure that all children are protected and supported at all times. Our staff receive regular training and guidance so they can recognise and respond to any concerns quickly and effectively. These updates help us maintain a safe, nurturing environment where your child can thrive with confidence
